Colleen Montgomery (she/her) Pastor of All Places Together

Hi, I’m Pastor Colleen Montgomery. I’ve been a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since 2014. I’m a graduate of Roanoke College in Salem, VA and the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. I also serve as the Director for Digital Ministries for the Virginia Synod - ELCA.

Some places that are special to me are the Great Lakes, Camp Lutherlyn, Virginia, Poland, the mountains, and anywhere she gathers with those I love - including Zoom Rooms! 

I came out as bisexual in 2021 and living into my queer identity as a person and pastor has brought me deep joy.

I love being an aunt to my nieces and nephews, hiking with my friends, cross-stitching, and reading, listening to, and watching stories.

Emer Kate Sanders (she/her) Content + Community Fellow

Emer Kate is an artist, aspiring seminarian, and extremely loud laugher hailing from Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN where she earned a B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies. 

For the past 2.5 years, Emer Kate lived and worked at Holden Village, an intentional community nestled in the remote wilderness of the North Cascade mountains of Washington state. At Holden she drove the luggage truck, decorated worship spaces, ate lots of “eggy” toast, and coordinated the summer educational program. 

Currently Emer Kate resides in Seattle, spending her free time riding her bike and punctuating the days with dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The intersection of art + faith is a guiding thread throughout her life, driving her excitement to do design work and more with APT and Mother Hen.
